For the KCD2 Thomas chapel, take the route from the courtyard towards the eastern tower and noble kitchen, then continue upstairs towards the chapel. A guard blocks the upper staircase. If you lack permission, crouch out of sight, throw a stone away from the stairs, and wait for him to investigate before passing behind him. Continue climbing to the highest chapel room.

A common KCD2 Thomas dead end is reaching the workshop without a usable lockpick. The ingredient chest is locked. Access permission lets you reach the room; it does not automatically open its containers.
