The short answer
The KCD2 Invaders route with the most dialogue is peaceful: speak with Vuytek, find Vasko's Cuman camp below the Nomads' Camp, say you came to warn them, and accept the drink. Save before KCD2 Invaders continues at the camp. Helping Jasak is optional, but drinking and finding moonshine lead to the agreement that keeps the Cumans away from Troskowitz.

KCD2 Invaders starts in two ways. If Henry returns while the Cumans are at the Troskowitz tavern, Betty asks him to serve them before a confrontation. If that scene passed, Betty or Vuytek still directs Henry to the camp. The brawl does not automatically fail KCD2 Invaders.
Start KCD2 Invaders and Serve the Cumans
The early KCD2 Invaders opening appears after free exploration begins and in-game time passes. Return to the Troskowitz tavern and speak to Betty. If Vasko and his men are seated outside, take their order before deciding how Henry handles the locals.
Follow the steps
- Speak to Vasko at the table and learn that the Cumans want bread and sausages.
- Return to Betty, who permits Henry to collect the food from the tavern pantry.
- Enter the open tavern door and take only the bread and sausages marked as normal pickups, not stolen goods.
- Serve the table and try to calm the argument. If a fistfight starts, use unarmed attacks and do not kill anyone.
- Speak with Vasko and Vuytek after the confrontation. Vuytek wants the Cumans kept away from Troskowitz.
If the diners never appear, do not keep waiting until an optional service objective fails. Continue KCD2 Invaders by asking Betty about the incident and then speaking with Vuytek. This later opening skips the food service but rejoins the same search for the Cuman camp.
Find the KCD2 Invaders Cuman Camp
Vuytek points Henry toward Semine for information. Lord Semine, Captain Gnarly and other witnesses can narrow the search toward Rocktower Pond and the Nomads' Camp. The direct KCD2 Invaders destination is the smaller Cuman site down the slope near the water, not the friendly wagons, trainers and merchants of the Nomads' Camp.

From the Nomads' Camp, use the southern side of the site and follow the descending forest path toward the pond. Look for a separate campfire, tents and armed Cumans. The regional map helps with the approach, but it does not select the KCD2 Invaders camp as a precise point of interest.
Speak to Vasko instead of attacking the group. In the timed KCD2 Invaders exchange, the calm warning keeps the KCD2 Invaders social route open. A direct threat can push KCD2 Invaders toward violence and remove much of the drinking sequence.
KCD2 Invaders Choices and Outcomes
KCD2 Invaders does not require one moral answer. The peaceful KCD2 Invaders path preserves the most dialogue, the Jasak episode, the moonshine trip and Vasko's later training. A hostile Henry can fight or kill the Cumans and report to Vuytek, but that closes those scenes.
Choices and consequences
| Choice | Immediate result | Practical consequence |
|---|---|---|
| Warn Vasko and drink | Keeps the conversation open | Continues the full KCD2 Invaders camp sequence |
| Threaten or attack | Starts or invites violence | Shorter resolution; optional social scenes are lost |
| Help Jasak | Opens the bathmaid dialogue checks | Success gains goodwill; failure can lead to a fistfight |
| Decline Jasak's request | Skips the matchmaking detour | The KCD2 Invaders drinking route can still continue |
| Tell Vuytek about the agreement | Requires a final social check for the best reception | Can earn reputation and 25 Groschen |
| Claim the Cumans were killed | Presents a lie if Henry spared them | KCD2 Invaders still concludes, with success depending on the check |

Treat “best” as a content preference, not a moral verdict. Henry distrusts Cumans after Skalitz, while Vasko presents individual motives. KCD2 Invaders keeps that tension instead of forcing friendship.
Help Jasak and Handle the Dialogue Checks
After Henry drinks with Vasko, KCD2 Invaders may offer to help Jasak speak to a woman at the Nomads' Camp. Save before accepting. The exchange chains several Speech, Charisma or Drinking-related checks, and published guides disagree on a single guaranteed threshold. Use the values displayed in your current dialogue rather than trusting one fixed number.
Prepare clean, repaired social clothing and any legitimate temporary bonus already available. The KCD2 charisma guide explains why the displayed total matters more than the price of one garment. High Charisma does not automatically pass every KCD2 Invaders line because different replies can test different skills.
Follow Jasak uphill and introduce Henry as his friend. Choose respectful paraphrases of Jasak's interest rather than insults. If the conversation succeeds, the woman agrees to meet him. If it fails, Jasak may challenge Henry to a fistfight. Fight without weapons, stop when he yields, and do not command Mutt to attack; stray damage can turn the Nomads or Cumans hostile.

The KCD2 Invaders matchmaking task is optional. If repeated KCD2 Invaders attempts create aggression or leave Vasko unavailable, reload the camp save and decline to help Jasak. This preserves KCD2 Invaders while giving up only that side scene.
Find the Odd Moonshine and Return to Camp
Return to Vasko immediately after Jasak's episode and keep drinking for the full KCD2 Invaders sequence. When the group runs out of alcohol, follow the Cuman assigned by the current KCD2 Invaders objective. Guides disagree on whether the companion is always Jasak or Vasko, so trust the journal marker and on-screen name.
Use automatic follow when offered and answer the singing prompts if desired. The KCD2 Invaders companion eventually collapses, and a strange talking dog appears during Henry's drunken state. The dog belongs to KCD2 Invaders, not Mutt's normal recruitment route.

Continue along the marked forest path. The Odd Moonshine lies on the ground between large rocks. Use the look or highlight prompt when close, collect the bottle, then return directly to the Cuman camp. Wandering into another quest area can cause the optional KCD2 Invaders drinking objective to fail.

Back at the fire, stop boasting after a failed check. During the KCD2 Invaders swim, return to the pond and persuade or pay the Cumans to avoid Troskowitz. After waking, collect and equip Henry's clothes before reporting to Vuytek.
Finish KCD2 Invaders with Vuytek
After KCD2 Invaders drinking, Henry wakes and can return to Troskowitz. Find Vuytek and report what happened. Saying Henry reached an agreement is the honest peaceful answer. A successful final impression earns 25 Groschen; failure still ends KCD2 Invaders but may lose reputation.
If Henry killed the Cumans, report that directly. If he spared them but claims otherwise, the game marks the statement as a lie and checks whether Vuytek believes it. KCD2 Invaders does not require the lie for completion, so choose it only when it fits the playthrough.
Vasko can remain useful after a friendly KCD2 Invaders resolution because he offers weapon training. That service gives the peaceful KCD2 Invaders route more practical content but is not required for the story.
KCD2 Invaders Bugs and Workarounds
Most KCD2 Invaders recovery advice comes from player reports rather than official patch notes. Start with the least disruptive action and keep a save from before the Cuman camp. Do not use console commands, knock out quest NPCs or commit crimes merely because an old workaround recommends it.
Find the cause
| Symptom | Likely state | Safest next action |
|---|---|---|
| Cumans never appear at the tavern | The live KCD2 Invaders service scene was missed or its schedule moved on | Ask Betty about the incident, then speak with Vuytek and continue to the camp search |
| Vasko walks back to Troskowitz during Jasak's task | His normal schedule resumed while KCD2 Invaders was active | Reload before the camp visit, begin in daylight, finish the Jasak conversation promptly and return at once |
| Jasak yields but becomes hostile again | Assault, Mutt damage or delayed fight state may still be active | Surrender if offered; otherwise reload and resolve the exchange without Mutt or skip the optional matchmaking task |
| All Cumans attack after drinking | Earlier aggression has propagated to the group | Leave combat without striking anyone, then reload the pre-camp save if dialogue does not reset |
| Talking-dog or moonshine scene does not advance | The companion or hidden bottle trigger was missed | Backtrack along the marked route, find the collapsed companion, inspect nearby ground and rocks, then collect the Odd Moonshine |
| Waiting and fast travel are blocked | A timed KCD2 Invaders objective is still active | Follow the current marker or move far enough away to let only the optional drinking objective fail; the main quest may remain available |
Community workarounds can vary by platform, patch and save state. If the low-risk KCD2 Invaders steps fail, preserving progress with an earlier manual save is safer than manipulating NPC schedules through violence.

Yes. Warn Vasko, keep drinking, return with the moonshine, secure the promise to avoid Troskowitz, and report the agreement to Vuytek.
