KCD2 Map Trosky: Full Interactive Region Guide

Unrolling the map

Large maps need a few seconds. The guide below is ready while you wait.

KCD2 Interactive Maps, Guides & Walkthroughs

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has two separate region maps: Trosky and Kuttenberg. The interactive KCD2 map Trosky above covers the full Trosky region, not just Trosky Castle. Use its search and filters to find fast-travel points, quests, traders, beds, chests, skill books, treasure maps, hunting grounds, Pebbles, and the later caravan to Kuttenberg.

Quick answer: Select Hide All, then enable only the marker type you need. Start with Fast Travel and Services; add Quests or Collectibles for the current objective. Search for a named NPC, item, or settlement. If the embedded view is too small, open the full-size KCD2 map Trosky. For the second region, use the Kuttenberg map.

How to Use the KCD2 Map Trosky

The embedded KCD2 map Trosky is a third-party MapGenie map. Its left panel groups pins by purpose instead of showing every icon at once. Because contributors can add or reclassify pins, treat the live filter totals as current map data rather than fixed counts.

For the clearest KCD2 map Trosky view:

  1. Select Hide All before choosing filters.
  2. Enable one main category and one supporting category.
  3. Search by the English in-game or MapGenie label when looking for a specific NPC or place.
  4. Open the marker note before riding across the region.
  5. Check Henry's quest state: a correct pin can still be behind a locked door, in a private area, or unavailable until a story step begins.

The KCD2 map Trosky progress tracker can mark discoveries after login, but an account is optional. Search, filters, zoom, and route planning work without signing in. The game maintains its own separate discovery state, so checking a pin on the website does not unlock it in Henry's map.

KCD2 Map Trosky Marker Categories

Use this table to keep the KCD2 map Trosky readable:

GoalBest filters on the KCD2 map Trosky
Build a travel networkFast Travel, Bed, Lodgings, Tavern, Baths, Caravan
Buy or repair equipmentBlacksmith, Horse Trader, Saddler, Tailor, Cobbler, Bowyer, Sharpening Wheel
Find quest contentMain Quest, Side Quest, Task, NPC
Collect permanent upgradesSkill Book, Recipe, Treasure Map, Treasure Chest, Weapon, Lore Book
Explore secretsInteresting Site, Cave, Underground Entrance, Locked Door, Shrine, Easter Egg
Gather resourcesRare Herb, Woodland Garden, Nest, Beehive, hunting spots

The KCD2 map Trosky contains hundreds of ordinary Chest and Nest pins. Turning on all of them hides roads and useful services. Search for a specific item type or clear one small area at a time. Use Treasure Chest separately from Chest when you want deliberately placed rewards rather than every container.

When the KCD2 Map Trosky Opens

Trosky is the first major region, but the opening sequence is initially linear. Free exploration opens after Laboratores, when Wedding Crashers becomes available. You do not need a special item to unlock the region, but normal-mode fast-travel destinations must still be discovered by approaching them in the world.

The KCD2 map Trosky can display locations before Henry can enter them. Trosky Castle is the clearest example: its surroundings and travel marker can be found early, while meaningful access to the interior is tied to For Whom the Bell Tolls. Other forts, quest camps, private rooms, and locked chests follow their own access rules.

Players who want the normal in-game map revealed can take the Explorer perk at Scholarship level 18. Explorer uncovers the regular map and many points of interest.

KCD2 Map Trosky Fast Travel Points

In Normal mode, fast travel works only after the feature opens and Henry has discovered a destination. It is not an instant teleport: in-game time passes, hunger and energy change, and random encounters can interrupt the route. Hardcore Mode disables ordinary fast travel and removes several navigation aids, but the interactive map can still help with route planning.

The most useful KCD2 map Trosky hubs are:

  • Central and north: Troskowitz, Trosky Castle, Tachov, Zhelejov, and Zhelejov Wagoners' Inn.
  • West: Vidlak Pond, Rocktower Pond, and the Nomads' Camp.
  • Southwest: Semine and Lower Semine Mill.
  • South and east: Nebakov Fortress, Nebakov Mill, Schdiar - West Farm, and Apollonia.

Map providers sometimes count an extra travel or regional marker differently. For play, the practical rule is simpler than a fixed total: discover every blue shield with a yellow wheel and treat the red caravan as a separate inter-region service.

Fast travel can be blocked when Henry is overloaded, extremely tired, inside a restricted or hostile area, or locked into certain quest moments. If the KCD2 map Trosky shows a valid destination but the game refuses the journey, leave the restricted area, reduce carried weight, rest, and try again.

Traveling from the KCD2 Map Trosky to Kuttenberg

The Trosky and Kuttenberg maps cover separate regions, so normal fast travel cannot cross between them. The story first takes Henry to Kuttenberg after the Trosky main-quest arc. Once regional travel becomes available, a caravan provides the return route in both directions for 200 Groschen each trip.

On the KCD2 map Trosky, look on the southeastern edge near Schdiar - West Farm for the red wagon marker and coachman. This is close to the route where the story leaves Trosky. The corresponding Kuttenberg caravan is west of Suchdol. A caravan trip advances time, so resolve urgent objectives before paying the coachman.

After arriving in the second region, use the KCD2 map Kuttenberg for its separate settlements and services. This Trosky map remains available whenever you return to finish quests, collect books, recover missed treasure, or begin later content located in the first region.

Best First Route Across Trosky

A practical first circuit prioritizes transport, a bed, repairs, and a horse:

  1. Troskowitz: Mark the central fast-travel point and learn the locations of the trader, apothecary, tailor, scribe, tavern, alchemy bench, and sharpening wheel.
  2. Tachov: Meet blacksmith Radovan, unlock the forge area, and use his questline to gain useful early facilities.
  3. Zhelejov Wagoners' Inn: Buy long-term lodging if affordable; the bed provides a reliable save point and access to Henry's shared chest.
  4. Semine: Unlock the southern route, find the horse trader and saddler, and recover Pebbles if you want Henry's original horse back.
  5. Nomads' Camp: Mark the trainers, combat area, traders, and horse handler before following quests into the western forest.
  6. Outer loop: Add Vidlak Pond, Rocktower Pond, Nebakov, Schdiar, and Apollonia as quests send Henry away from the central roads.
  7. Trosky Castle: Return when the main story grants access instead of trying to force a marker behind closed gates.

Early Services in Trosky

Troskowitz is the best general-purpose early hub, but it does not contain every specialist. Tachov is valuable for smithing and Radovan's quests. Zhelejov Wagoners' Inn offers lodging and nearby services. Semine is the main early stop for horses and saddlery, and it is also central to the Semine wedding route, while the Nomads' Camp provides training and horse-related help.

Use service filters instead of assuming every village has the same merchants. For example, enable Blacksmith when repairing weapons, Horse Trader and Saddler when upgrading travel, or Skill Teacher when spending Groschen on training. The marker note helps confirm the NPC or facility before Henry makes a long trip.

Beds also differ. A Bed marker may be temporary, owned, rented, or unsafe to use. Lodgings usually identify an inn where Henry can pay for a night or permanent access. Check the marker note, then confirm the sleep-and-save prompt in the game before relying on a bed as a save point.

Collectibles, Chests, and Quests

For lasting character progress, prioritize Skill Book, Recipe, Treasure Map, and Treasure Chest over ordinary containers. Many valuable pins still require lockpicks, reading ability, sufficient Thievery, or a related quest state.

For alchemy and hunting, combine one resource filter with the nearest travel point. Rare Herb and Woodland Garden help with ingredients; animal filters identify habitats for boar, deer, roe, and wolves. A hunting marker indicates a likely area, not a guarantee that animals will be standing there at every hour.

Keep Main Quest, Side Quest, and Task separate. The map has enough quest markers to obscure roads when all three layers are active. If a quest pin seems wrong, read the note and compare it with Henry's current journal stage; objectives can move, disappear, or become accessible only after dialogue.

Trosky Map FAQ

Does this map show only Trosky Castle?

No. It covers the whole first region, including Troskowitz, Tachov, Zhelejov, Semine, the Nomads' Camp, Apollonia, Nebakov, ponds, mills, forests, and Trosky Castle.

How many maps are in KCD2?

There are two main region maps: Trosky, the opening rural region shown here, and Kuttenberg, the later region centered on the city and surrounding settlements. They are separate maps connected by a paid caravan after the story unlocks regional travel.

Where is Pebbles on the Trosky map?

Pebbles is at the Semine stud farm in the southwestern part of the region. Speak with Groom Ballatay and prove ownership or pay to recover the horse. Pebbles is optional; the map also shows other horse traders and horse-related services.

Can I travel from Trosky to Kuttenberg?

Yes, after the story has taken Henry to Kuttenberg and regional travel is available. Use the red caravan on the southeastern edge near Schdiar - West Farm and pay 200 Groschen.

Why is a marker inaccessible?

The pin may be inside a private area, behind a lock, above or below Henry, or tied to a later quest stage. A marker shows location, not permission; follow the journal and in-game restricted-area warnings.

Does the interactive map save my progress?

The interactive map supports progress tracking when signed in. Searching and filtering work without an account, while the game keeps its own independent map-discovery progress.
